CHICAGO, Illinois – (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 30, 2004 – Commonwealth Realty Advisors announced its investment in two active adult lifestyle development projects today, Traditions at Fitchie Creek located in Elgin, Illinois and Traditions at Glen Flora, located in Waukegan, Illinois. The projects offer maintenance-free living for active adults consisting of single-family ranch, duplex, and quad homes. The investment was made on behalf of a Commonwealth commingled fund.

This transaction was completed with Burnside Construction Company, one of Chicago’s most respected family-owned home builders.

Traditions at Glen Flora is a community of 98 maintenance-free attached ranch homes. Located at Blanchard and Sheridan Roads in Waukegan, Illinois, Traditions at Glen Flora is set on a 27-acre wooded property adjacent to the renowned Glen Flora Country Club and forest preserve.

Traditions at Fitchie Creek features 170 single-family and attached ranch homes in Elgin, Illinois. Located at Noland and Bowles Roads, Traditions at Fitchie Creek is set on 70 wooded acres adjacent to the Fitchie Creek forest preserve. As is the case with all Traditions properties, Fitchie Creek will feature a large pool, exercise and fitness center, hot tub, library, computer center, and a constant schedule of activities.
